Awesome Animals & Mini Me swinging onto new Sky Kids channel

MEDIACITY, UK, February 6, 2023

UK Prodco Three Arrows Media – creators of Treasure Champs and co-producers of The Baby Club, The Toddler Club and Andy and the Band – announced today their new series which has been snapped up for UK/Eire by Sky Kids as part of their new linear channel, launching Monday 13th February.

Available for international acquisition, the 15 x 11’ mixed media magazine show is aimed at 2-5yrs.  With fact-file archive sections, a craft, two play-along games, an animated story and a song in every episode, it’s hosted by two love heart characters – an enthusiastic youngster, and his compassionate storyteller parent-figure.  Each episode focusses on a different animal and explains how children can learn simple life-lessons from the characteristics and behaviours of animals, like meerkats showing the value of ‘family’ and geese demonstrating ‘teamwork’.

Financed by Wonderborn Media Group (parent company of Three Arrows Media) this series marks a new route to market for the prodco now in its 7th year.

Exec Producer and Three Arrows Media’s Managing Director Jon Hancock says “It’s a charming series which provides a perfect co-viewing opportunity for parents and children to watch world-class wildlife archive together, play along with simple games, sing, dance and take away a simple values-based message too.  We’re thrilled to be part of the exciting new Sky Kids channel and look forward to growing this brand with them and international partners.”
